It's time for a change at our hotel.
On this occasion, we are talking about changes that define us as a hotel and our employees. Immerse yourself in the discovery of our hotel values.
Read moreAn idea that began in 2018 as an idea from our hotel director and took shape from year to year gained momentum in the summer of 2023 with a trip to Brunsbüttel by the department heads. On this trip, we developed and defined our 10 guiding values that we want to stand for in the future. On 13 February 2023 and 14 February 2024, it was then time for the colleagues from the Empire Riverside Hotel and Hotel Hafen Hamburg. A total of four sessions spread over two days gave us the opportunity to get actively involved.
We were able to share our views on the ten guiding values identified, as well as identify areas for improvement in the departments and praise well-functioning processes. We also discussed together how important each guiding value is in the catering industry and what added value it means for you as a guest. The individual stations were supervised by the department heads and provided an opportunity for personal reflection and creative development. The various small groups also allowed participants to get to know new faces, engage in dialogue and learn news about the hotel.
At the end, everyone received a small but sweet surprise, which they could let melt in their mouths as a reward.
